2026 started with a BANG!
Myself and my Partner was at a good friends NYE party at her home. I was distracted. One close friend was very ill or so I thought. Within the first 5 days both beautiful Soul Sisters joined the Ancestors. One I’d known for 38 years and the other 30. Grief has been the theme since 2024 of closest friends.
Anticipatory grief and now Compound grief are running through my veins like blood does to nurture me.
The reason I share this is not to bring down the firery energy a new year has for people but to reinforce that we MUST Live our Life like it’s Golden. My two closest friends didn’t make it to 56. That’s young. My other dearest a few years older.
We are losing people before some of their greatest work is fulfilled and many without leaving that Legacy or End if Life Projects.
Every year I create a Life Book. Its the story of that year. Its the hopes, the dreams and the real blessings. Our time on this earth in this life is fleeting and though many of us make it count, what do we leave behind?
It has to be our stories surely. Our “How To…” books for the next generations.
So I’ll end by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR.
